Cat6 structured cabling installation in a network cabinet

Reliable CCTV and Wi-Fi depend on the cabling behind them. Titan installs Cat6 structured cabling for IP cameras, wireless access points, PoE devices and general business networking across Northern Ireland. Whether the job is a new build needing a full structured cabling installation or an existing premises requiring additional data points, the approach is the same: plan the routes, install the cable neatly, terminate correctly and verify the result.

What We Install

Cat6 Structured Cabling

Cat6 is the standard for modern IP CCTV and business networking. It supports gigabit speeds over distances up to 100 metres and handles the bandwidth required for multiple 4K cameras, VoIP phones, wireless access points and general data traffic. Titan installs Cat6 to current standards with proper termination, labelling and documentation.

Cat6A

Where higher bandwidth or longer runs are required, Cat6A cabling supports 10-gigabit speeds. This is relevant for larger network backbones, server connections and future-proofing higher-density installations.

Data Points and Faceplates

Each cable terminates at a clearly labelled data point. Points can be wall-mounted, floor-mounted or ceiling-mounted depending on the application. CCTV cameras, wireless access points and general devices all get dedicated points rather than sharing or daisy-chaining.

Patch Panels and Comms Cabinets

All cables terminate back at a central patch panel inside a comms cabinet. This keeps the installation tidy, accessible for future changes, and easy to manage. Titan can install new cabinets or work with existing infrastructure.

PoE Infrastructure

Power over Ethernet allows IP cameras, wireless access points and other devices to receive both data and power through a single cable. Titan installs PoE-rated cabling and PoE switches (including TP-Link Omada managed switches) to support these devices without needing separate power supplies at each location.

Where We Install

  • Offices and business premises
  • Warehouses and industrial units
  • Retail shops and commercial buildings
  • Farms and agricultural buildings
  • Schools and public buildings
  • New builds and refurbishments
  • Multi-building sites (combined with point-to-point wireless where trenching is impractical)

CCTV Network Cabling

Every IP camera needs a network cable. Titan plans cable routes during the CCTV design stage so cameras, recording devices and switches all connect reliably. This includes running cables through ceilings, walls, cable trays and external routes where needed, with weatherproofing for outdoor runs.

Wi-Fi Access Point Cabling

Wireless access points need wired backhaul. A single Cat6 cable to each AP location provides both data connectivity and PoE power. Titan runs these cables during the Wi-Fi design phase so access points end up in the right positions for coverage rather than wherever an existing cable happens to be.

Network Expansion and Tidy-Up

Existing premises often have a mix of old cabling, temporary runs and overloaded switches. Titan can assess the current infrastructure, add new points where needed, re-terminate damaged cables, replace patch panels and bring the installation up to a consistent standard.

Coverage

Titan provides network cabling across all of Northern Ireland including Belfast, Lisburn, Derry, Armagh, Newry, Craigavon, Bangor, Ballymena and surrounding areas.
